Accessibility statement

We are always looking for ways to make our website as accessible as possible for all users of the service and we have taken steps to ensure that the core of this site is as accessible as possible to all.

This accessibility statement applies to this website only.

This website is run by Lambeth Talking Therapies, which is part of South London and Maudsley NHS Trust.

The Website and Mobile Applications (No.2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 are designed to ensure that public sector bodies have website and mobile applications that can be used by as many people as possible.

The standard aims to make sure that people who have a disability, impairment or sensory loss are provided with information that they can easily read or understand and with support so they can communicate effectively with health and social care services. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • zoom in without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader

We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand. If there are still words, acronyms, or terms you don’t understand, drop us a line at lambethiaptadministrators@slam.nhs.uk and we will get back to you.

Our website

Our website is designed to be accessible to all and has been tested by Mayden using Microsoft Accessibility Insights for Web, a combination of automated and manual tests that cover all of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 AA standard. As of March 2021, the site is fully compliant.

However, note that any pdfs, videos or other materials linked to from the site may not be compliant, and that any future additions or changes to the website may affect this accessibility rating. Any exceptions will be listed in the Accessibility statement.

This site is designed to work on modern web browsers and mobile devices. Users using older browsers such as Internet Explorer are encouraged where possible to upgrade their browser. This will ensure that the site displays as close to its intended functionality as possible, minimising display errors, and also allowing the responsive components of the website to work as intended.
